VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!
Oct. 25, 2003 - 8 am to 3 pm - Wilkins Auditorium, River Center, St Paul, MN
We have a Club table for Hamfest MN but we will need to move lightning fast
to pull this off. I think this should be easy as we have done a club table
previously so we have a process to work within. At the very bottom I have
listed what we did at Midwinter Madness. Anyone that would like to take on
the same tasks is welcome.
We had a lot of interest and activity at Midwinter Madness and was a very
good showing for us. Hamfest MN www.hamfestmn.org will have over three
times the number of attendees that we saw at MM and a very large number of
kids as ages 17 and under are admitted free with special presentations and
prizes geared towards them. So, be an Elmer, introduce a kid to ham radio
or at least cheap computer parts.
Again I would like to keep most of the traffic regarding this off the
reflector so please contact me directly on the requests. I will provide
updates to the reflector so everyone is informed.
Once again Does anyone have a black table cloth that we can drape on the
table to class up the look of the table? The tables are 8 foot long to we
need something that will drape over the front and sides.
We have a Club Sign that we can put up behind the table.
I would like to have three people at the booth at all times to talk to
attendees. I am planning on 2 1/2 hour shifts starting at 7:30 am so I
will
need a total of nine people. Three people per shift. Shifts will be:
Shift one 7:30-10:00
Shift two 10:00-12:30
Shift three 12:30-3:00
VOLUNTEERS PLEASE?
