It sounds like all their transverters have the LO built onboard.  Bummer.
Yes, in some respects that's nice, but now I'll end up paying for all the
extra LO parts on each and every kit.  I was hoping they were the commercial
version of all the KK7B No Tune Transverters from the ARRL UHF/Microwave
Projects Manual.  Then, at least, all I'd have to buy is crystals for band
swapping.  Oh well, I guess that's the price we have to pay to have fun on
the microwave bands.  Does anybody know of a source for the KK7B circuit
boards?  According to the book, DEMI carried them when the book was
published, but I don't see any reference to them on their website.  One more
minor gripe with DEMI...why don't they have an email address for questions
instead of having to make a toll call?  (I suppose it's like a filter...only
truely interested people will call if it costs money)...
