[NLRS] 10 GHz This weekend

Sunday is better for me, too.
I have some work to do on my antenna. Last weekend, my system was markedly
lower performance than W0AUS' sitting 3' away. Bob measured both his and
my systems Thursday evening... VERY similar, each being -138 to -140 dBm
tangential sensitivity. SO, the difference has to be the dish and feed.
I recall that at our fall outing last year, I "peaked" the position of the
feed for "maximum gain." I also remember that we later discovered there
was "cross-talk" between the lower frequency and 10GHz ranges. I may well
have peaked on bad signals ! Bottom line is that I'll need a good path,
and a few minutes of carrier from a willing signal generator so I can
reposition the feed. I'd like a few miles between source and antenna for
the adjustment. Other than that, I'm up for almost anything in terms of
sites, paths, etc.
DO we want to check in on 146.46 or somec such tomorrow morning to finalize
plans ?
