When the capture area of a long yagi is more than half a boom length
high and wide, putting other beams at 3' upsets that beam's operation.
Cuts gain, adds sidelobes, kills front to back. You need a longer mast
to make it work decently. Or to find a long boom dual band yagi with the
performance of the 27' boom at 2m, it hasn't been commercialized yet. I
have multiple dual band performance arrays, but so far I've not proven
any to work.
