[NLRS] August 10G trip to Superior

Hi all,

I haven't had much time to be on the air lately, but did hear
about some 10G tests over the weekend. It sounds like Jon, W0ZQ,
and Tony, KD0JI, got their equipment on the air. Good going guys.

I have a few updates on the August 10G cumulative weekend.
     Mel, KC0P, and Carol, N0HZO, plan to go to the UP of Michigan
          for the August weekend.
    Eric, KT8O, has said he will go to the North Shore. Lenny, K0SHF,
         is going to loan him his second rig. It is a 10mW setup.
     Mike, KB0OZN, wants to make the trip but has some family
obligations.
        He hopes to change the dates so he can join in our fun.
    I have heard from WB8TGY, Mark. He is interested in going to the UP
        but doesn't have any firm plans at this time. I haven't heard
anything
        from the other Michigan operators.

Thanks to Bruce, W9FZ, for arranging accommodations in Copper Harbor.
Has anyone checked on the North Shore end of things?

If  you have anything else to add about the August weekend please 
let me know.

Lets plan on some 10G activity this weekend for those who are in town.
I hope to join in the fun this time.  If you are planning activity please
post
to the reflector the day before. It doesn't have to be final plans, just
let
everyone know that you plan to be on the air.
