[NLRS] Filter for 2m RFI?

Oh Bill, you have yourself a tuff one. As Jerry points out, if the signals
are in-band, a front end bandpass filter will not help. If the "main"
signal is out of band and it is getting into your radios front end and
causing overload, etc., then a bandpass filter will most likely fix it.

If you have a schematic for your 2m rig, take a look at the front end ....
does it already have some selectivity ahead of the RF amp ? The older
radios were better at this than the newer radios are. If there is some
selectivity there already, I would tend to think that adding a bandpass
filter out front won't help ... but, I have been wrong before !!. The fact
that you can hear it on three different radios is not a good sign.

To the best of my knowledge, the only way to get rid of a signal source that
is in-band and that still allows for you to hear on the antenna heading and
on that freq. is to get rid of the signal source. The problem is that you
may have an in-band signal on your desired freq and on your desired beam
heading.
