Count me in .... probably best for the first weekend.   

Regarding propagation across the lake, I'll go way way out on a limb and 
speculate that ducting (?) may be best when the water is at its coolest and 
the air is at its warmest .... warm air over water-cooled air may be, repeat, 
may be responsible for the previously observed propagation.   If so, August 
may be better than Sept as by September the water has warmed more and the air 
may be starting to cool ... June/July may be the best.
