We will be running a 3A station at the Silvermine Ski
Jump site (Call N9TTX)...as of right now, we will be
on the upper side (unless it rains to beat all in the
next few hours)...so any visitors/operators who wish
to see the setup and sit in/chat etc... will have to
hike up the stairway from the lower parking area to
the top. The main gate (2nd visible gate from where
Silvermine drive opens up) will be open and just find
a place to park...come on up and visit. We will be
covering 160 meters thru 1296 Mhz. The ONLY band in
this area we will not be running will be 903. Modes
will be predominantly SSB, but we will have CW
available and FM for those with FM only. For those
that partook in the VHF contest the other weekend,
break the stuff out and find us here in EN44
(essentially point at the intersection of hwy 37 and
I-94...that should be close enough.
Bill..K0AWU....maybe we can get our various contacts
this time..*LOL* Charlie N0AKC...get the family
together and we can make a run of the VHF and some HF
bands in phone and CW...points is points...*LOL* Or
come out and visit if you wish...more than welcome ya
know. We will be going around the clock...no matter
what. See ya then....we want to work as many bands
and modes as possible with you.
73 and all that jazz.
David....N9TTX with ops Darrell KB9LVK and Justin K9MU
