Hi Guys

Earlier tonight while working 6m I was working stations in as close as
EN82 with S-9+ signals. Lots of fellows calling and dinner waiting on the
table. I decided before dinner it might be wise to make some noise on
144.200, after a call at 2320Z (June 20) K1WHS FN43mj (1126 miles)
responded . David was about 5-5 on SSB and commented after exchanging
reports and grids that he was having an RF power problem. We signed and I
continued to call. No other stations were heard. About 5min later he called
again and indicated when we first worked there were NO VOLTAGES on his
8877 amplifier. We had worked on "leak through". In the 2nd contact he said
I was weaker, but he was 5-7 on this exchange. A VERY INTERESTING 2m
E contact. David indicated on our first 2m contact that I was well over S-9.

  30min later I worked him on 6m and he was 40 to 50db over S-9 a VERY
VERY strong signal. He indicated that he had heard me prior to our 2m
contact on 6m and had heard my comment that I was going to check 2m..
Good ears!!

Two 2m "E" events here this spring and it is still June :>)
