I have not finalized my logs/scores yet...but here is
the breakdown of everything from the contest weekend
(It should be right on, but I need to double check as
I manually log) Anyhoo:
Band Q's Points Grids
50 Mhz 91 91 50
144 Mhz 47 47 12
222 Mhz 19 38 7
432 Mhz 28 56 7
1296 Mhz 7 21 4
totals: 192 253 80
Score: 20,240
Thanks again to those who put up with my less than
perfect CW...(I also forgot to note some of the
contacts that were CW on the higher bands, so if you
get a QSL card from me with phone instead of CW or
vice versa let me know or something...*L* I was too
busy trying to get the other pertinant info down. Oh
well. Since cross mode contacts are accepted, it
shouldn't matter too much. Also if the times don't
match perfectly it's cause I was glancing at the clock
every so often to get the times...not every
contact....but they should be within a few minutes. I
had hoped to get a few more contacts than I did, but I
suppose I shouldn't whine too much as I really did not
sit and run a frequency that much...mostly I S & P'd
all weekend. The main thing is that I had fun and am
already planning for Sept. Remember to look Eau
Claire way for Field Day. I am thinking now we will
be running one HF station and one VHF station (as per
the 2B class) all weekend. Justin you are welcome to
the rigs...like Johnny said..."Come on down!" Anyone
else is welcome also..though a hike may be in store
for you....*LOL* want Directions? give me a message.
Later all.
Dave....N9TTX
