Hi all,

I went out as a local rover to give out Q's on the high bands.
Good thing 6M wasn't very lively Sunday afternoon. I would
have been pretty lonely in that case.

I was on from about 2PM to 8 PM Sunday. My first stop was
Ridgeway Park, just north of the Honeywell plant on I-35W.

The second stop was across the freeway, just into EN34.

Scoring breakdown:
                          Q's Grids
50 MHz 0 0
144MHz 21 2
222MHz 0 0
432MHz 19 2
902MHz 8 1
1296MHz 13 2
2304MHz 6 2
3456MHz 2 1
5760MHz 0 0
10368MHz 2 1

Totals 71 11 + 2 rover grids = 13
Total points 2106

I hope my contacts allowed those I worked to get a better
score. Next time I will have 223.5 FM for sure. I was to lazy
to take down the beam this time. I will have a small
ground plane for the UHF contest.

One comment, if you want to work me, look for me some
place other than on the calling frequencies! I'm doing a local
rove and I will not work a local on a calling frequency below
900 MHz.

I will be looking to work more of you on the high bands
in future contests. Thanks for the contacts and please
send in you logs.

73, Gary WB0LJC
