[NLRS] DEM 10g Amp question...

My 10Gig 2w amp arrived and I am starting to work on integrating it into my
system.

It came wired for "ground to transmit" however, I can see the pad that I
would move the PTT line to if I were to supply a "pos voltage for transmit".

As it is, I can easily parallel/pig-tail the "ground to transmit" that I
have coming out of my IF rig and key both the xverter and the amp with this
action.

However, wouldn't it be smarter and actually have some sequencing effect if
I were to use the AUX-out of the xverter which is "24v" spiked declining to
12v all on transmit? Would the 24-12 be too much voltage for the PTT
circuit in the amp? I would think that the PTT circuit in the amp wouldn't
sink too much current.

I do have some Paul Wade sequencer boards coming but didn't actually
anticipate using them in the 10G set-up.

I know K0SHF grounds both of his units at the same time for keying and so
far has had no problems.

Thoughts? I may call Steve at DEM, but I thought I'd ask my local friends
first :-) .
