Well that was a lot of fun !.....

Thanks ever so much Jon for getting setup and of course the 57A/ 55A QSO . I
did hear Gary  W0GHz and sent 56A, got calls but no report before fading
away.  My LO drifted down about 8 or 9 kHz during the evening and I will
swap out the LO for another before next time.

I need to establish a beacon south of Winnipeg so that I can get a good
bearing calibration and make sure the dish really is on the horizon. For the
record I was running 50W out into 60ft of elliptical waveguide, about 5 ft
of 1/2 inch Superflex (rotator loop) and an 18 inch offset dish at 50 ft.

My grid is EN19lu so I will be interested in the distance.
