[NLRS] Halo/Big Wheel Antennas

Eric started trouble with this email thread. I spent a couple of causal
hours surfing the web looking at pictures and build info because of him. :)
I created some PDF docs of the better design information that I found. I
will try to get them posted up on my website in a few days.
They look pretty easy to build once you get a decent picture to model a
design from. The issue that I see with them is they that appear to be pretty
mechanically weak considering the size of each leaf. W0ZQ is correct on his
sizes for 2m..... each element is composed from 80 inches of wire.
I suppose that someone could use some 8 or 10 gauge wire to make something
that is stiff enough to hold up.
I think that I am going to try to build one from 12 gauge wire and see how
it tunes. Depending on the results I will determine what changes to work
into the design.
I would like to come up with a template in Visio if this works any better
than a wet noodle or a simple loop.
