Gene, is your time reference of 1544 local time ? .... that would be 3:44
PM, or 2144 UTC, right ? If so, that is indeed right in the middle of our
6M E opening from EN34 to the FN20 +/- area as I worked AA2UK in FM29 at
2144 UTC.

If it turns out to be the flu medication you were using, please send me a
double dose.

This occured @ 1544 Sunday . I was on 144.200 and someone was blasting the
front end of my FT-100 and I tuned up to .201 and there he was about
5x8-9( I did not take time to look at my meter) and got all of his info but
I am not treating it as a completed qso as I connot confirm that he got
mine. This really did not feel like scatter either, could not have been the
flu medicine making me imagine stuff??? man I was feeling not too good this
weekend. Eric, K8TO was trying to work me about the same time and I don't
think he heard him but he heard me attemting to work him.

My qso count was down from last year and it got awful lonesome at the end
of
the contest from EN04 and EN03, I looked toward the cities and the only one
worked was W0OHU but no other takers. Did work N0LL EM09 from EN04 and 03
as
well as HHM and KM0T. This is the second time that I have told myself I
will
not end a contest out in the middle of nowhere (RF nowhere that is) The
last
30 to 45 minutes of contest was real dead for me. The weather did end up
cooperating which was great! I did manage to complete 14 of the 16-18
grids
I wanted, last year I did 18 but did not have the flu either. Thanks to all
I worked and sorry to those I missed and could have worked but did want to
try for more grids.
