I vaguely remember the sell out to Kantronics then the move to somewhere...

Phil - legal limit on 6 and Channel 2 don't mix!! That is why we run the 
rovers - harder to hit a moving target!!

No one has offered me a complete set like John has. I missed out on a 222 
unit on eham over the weekend - used email instead of the phone - won't 
happen again!!

Now to expand the discussion. If I can't find used, then it seems we have 
the following options:

TE-Systems - nice line of amps and in production
Mirage - another line of amps and in production
Tokyo Hy Power - limited line and you have to read Japanese to understand 
their web site (I don't) plus handle the customs importing.
RF Concepts/Alpha Power - limited line.

Does anyone know of others?

What are the opinions of the group with respect to quality, functionality, 
and pre-amps?

I appreciate all the responses and if sent privately, I will keep them private.
