Hello NLRSers,

Does anybody on the list work at Medtronic or have any contacts there?

I'm in the Chicago area, seeking employment since last April, and recently
found two positions at Medtronic that fit with my background.  The positions
are in the Patent/Intellectual Property area, though for
Technologist/Business types rather than pure 'legal.'  From one contact I
was able to make, I understand that the manager who is hiring for these
positions worked previously at 3M.

I submitted my resume through my contact last month but I haven't heard
anything...so I would especially welcome info about how Medtronic's hiring
process works (so many companies these days don't extend the courtesy of
acknowledging receipt of resumes but that is understandable with the
capability that the web has provided for companies that post positions to be
inundated with resumes).

I realize that most of you don't know me from Adam or maybe only briefly
from a contact in a VHF/UHF contest or at a recent CSVHFS meeting, but...if
any of you has contacts/leads/info at/about Medtronic that you'd be willing
to and *comfortable* sharing or referring me to, I'd appreciate it.
