[NLRS] 222 DEMI xverter question

Hello all

 I have a question about my 222 transverter. I built it a few months ago
and had problems with it, so I give it a rest.  After some help from
N0AKC we (he) figured that the xtatl was a dud so I called DEMI and got
a new one.. (them are kinda spendy!) 
  Now the LO seems to be running good, but there seems to a problem some
where. Sometimes it runs fine putting out good power on ssb and cw and
then all the sudden it will jump to full rated output when keyed.. with
no input..

IF rig is Yaesu ft920
TX interface is the demi aos 28
Antenna is 8 element k1fo design from directive systems inc.

 Any help on this would be appreciated.... Hoping to be on 222 for the
test... Hopefully I can make it over the border into 0 land...
