Hi Mike.    Its my understanding that for a well designed yagi that more
than one reflector element does very little or nothing to the f/b or gain.
Best to take seven of those eight elements and make then directors (by
lengthening the boom of course !).

By the way, a high f/b ratio may be a disadvantage on 1296 where there
really isnt that much activity to "reject".    Go for gain and a clean
pattern.
