Hello to Jon, Eddie and others,
fine business on the previous discussion.
I did extensive studies of the EN58/b back
about ten years ago.
Comparisons ranged from +1628msl to an astounding
+598msl (several feet below Lake Superior's 602'lwd) from
just Northeast of Allouez Bay, behind the berm,
near the Burial grounds. (could a local please back me up on this?)
At this point, the top yagi was just above the water level!
Nonetheless, interesting results were had even in the
winter months. Taking into consideration the beacon's orientation,
results were often "odd" when moving uphill. (similiar results also
came from the Hovland and Cornucopia sites as well)
I believe you 10GHZ fellows have a fantastic playground
awaiting in your midst, and Science awaits your exploits!
PS: Eddie, when are you going to get that wonderful machine
back on the air?
