[NLRS] Christmas Eve Mobile Ops

Holiday Greetings All

  Pat and I are again traveling this Wed Dec 24th, Christmas Eve. We will 
be departing home around 8am or so and will be mobile 144.200 SSB while 
traveling through grids: EN37, EN36, EN46, EN56, EN55 and ending at 
EN65bg, our destination for the Christmas weekend. The trip is 8 hours 
under typical conditions. I will be running 70 watts mobile to Squalow 
144.200 SSB. Our return in reverse order is planed for Monday Dec 29. 
Again departure somewhere around 8am or so. I will have the GPS so can 
be very certain of Grid square

  I plan on being on from EN65bg frequently during the period Dec 25-
Dec28. Operations will be on as time makes available. I will be monitoring 
144.200 during most "awake time" at a distance. I will be running 70 watts 
into 5 elem beam as we did back in Nov of 2001.

  VERY LIMITED internet postings MAY be possible. Not sure.

  If you wish a schedule from EN65bg, please email me prior to Wed. 
2meter operations only. The 746Pro has problems and that would have 
been  the only possible 6m rig.

  Good tropo this morning. QSOs with K2DRH on 2m (411 miles, S2 for 
over 30min) plus 2m and 432 SSB Qsos with N9UDO (317miles). Many 
CQs SSB and CW on 144.200 provided no additional return calls. 1510Z - 
1547Z
