Hi Guys

Chris N0UK and Eric KT8O tried a quick short notice run. Nothing heard
either end. I was just TOO late getting the message out. I eat breakfast while
it rained and thundered a bit and went down to the computer to check WX...
Two cells were looking like they would very soon be in JUST THE right spot. I
warmed up the DEM while posting an e-mail ... but the delay times and my
late alert plus setup time for Chris and Eric were too much ... By the time
Chris was ready (first one available) the cells were already maybe 20m east
of direct path and they were moving fast :>(( So .. it would have NOT been
forward scatter :>((

Pat (my bride) said Bob W0AUS had called on 200 about 20min earlier, but
by the time I could get to the basement to call Bob .. nothing was heard. So
maybe Bob saw this coming .... Bummer if that was the case.

I am available most of the time and if any of you see a shot let me know. If I
run from the dock (160 deg - 180deg paths) I can use my wireless phone for
coordination ....

Thanks for the trys and sorry about the LATE post. (218-326-5658)
