I suspected as much. This morning, the FM broadcast band table radio
in my kitchen seemed to be having a lot of trouble locking onto a
local station on 102.9 MHz. Turns out that a distant station on a
frequency of 102.7 MHz was coming in so strong that the radio could not
completely separate them. This is with only the "antenna" of the AC
power supply cord. On my drive in to work, a quick check of the FM
broadcast band showed 1 or more stations on virtually EVERY channel
up and down the band. My drive time is so short that I didn't linger
on many of them long enough to catch a full ID or location, but I did
pick out stations from Duluth and the MN-IA border.

Could be a good day for at least 2M and 222, maybe higher up the band
also! Darn it, I wish I could play hooky instead of coming in to
work today. And I'm also extra disappointed to have no transceivers
in the vehicle yet, though again my drive time is pretty short.

The Hepburn Tropo Index suggests Moderately Good conditions for today,
falling off a bit by tomorrow and later, and picking up to even better
conditions this Friday.

Good hunting!
