GM All
Ed VE3KRP and I had a 432 / 1296 sked at 15:30z this morning, sorry to
say that at this time this morning conditions were poor. Signals were poorer
than last night at 0200z on 432 and nothing was heard on 1296 at all.
Also interesting enough ... no 222 or 2m beacon signals from N8PUM. In
conversation with Barry VE4MA he indicates that he has had poor luck with
"HiPressure Tropo" for freq above 222. However Barry was 20 over 9 plus at
W0PHD's QTH on thier weekly 432.1 sked last night. The Red River Valley
Tropo was really hopping. Man I miss that valley tropo that at times extended
clear to Iowa.
The W0ZQ/b 222.061 is a bit stronger than normal, but not moving the S
meter at 11:00z It has some QSB.. WA9HCZ/b is about normal with QSB
Given the good signals I have been seeing even as late as noon on the
N8PUM beacons .. hope is not yet lost.
GM and have a great day....
