Saturday night is usually a good time for activity in the UHF contest Mel.
As you may know, the UHF contest isnt exactly like SS or a DX contest, but
its a fun operating event .... last year with the really good local
activity I was actually somewhat busy at time ! I would think that there
will be activity at 9:30/10:00 PM Sat. evening Mel. Regarding 10 GHz,
I've worked GHZ near the EN24/25/34/35 grid corner but its a LOT easier to
do it when its light out so you can see your take off shot .... I did not
operate from Dog Lake itself but found better locations all within several
miles of Dog Lake.

There is a good chance that I will be in Minneapolis Saturday
evening. I am thinking of a small rover operation, Burnsville Bluff
for EN34 and St. Anthony Overlook for EN35. Dream would be
to sprint out to Windom for the 24/25 corner. How late will the
home stations be active so there would be any contacts if I
don't get out there until 9:30 or 10PM ? I will have 432 and 1296
for sure, is 10 GHz worth the hassle?
