[NLRS] NLRS Hats & Patches

The long awaited announcement for NLRS logo based hats & patches is here !
Because some members dislike hats, while other members expressed keen
interest in just hats, we have both !   Can you stand the excitement ?

Regarding hats, Bud, W0LCP, will have a direct embroidery demo hat at Au'03
for show & tell.   Please see Bud or I at Au'03 to see it.    The cost will
be $12.00 (no tax) and will be offered in the one color shown (green).
This price is based upon a total order size of 24 to 47 hats .... if our
final order size is less than 24 hats I may need to ask for another buck
while if the order is more than 47 any excessive funds will go to the NLRS
treasury.   I will be taking your orders, including payment up front, and
working with Bud to batch our entire hat order through a week or two after
Au'03.     I will be the responsible party for hat distribution as well ...
I'm the sales & distribution guy while Bud is the manufacturing guy.
Check out the "demo hat" at Au'03 and get your order with payment ($12.00)
to me in the next couple of weeks.   No club funds are being used in the
hat transaction.

Regarding patches, we had a slight snafu that we are going to turn into a
collectors event.   Fire up your ebay account.   The patch vendor, due to
his admitted mistake, ran 100 4.5" NLRS logo patches using the OLD 3-beam
logo version.    Other than that, the patches are good.     He has stated
that he will rerun our order with the correct 2-beam logo but that due to
timing these will not be available for Au'03 this Saturday.    These should
be available in several weeks.    As club funds are being used to finance
the setup fee ($40) and piece part cost ($2.60 for 100) the proceedings
from ALL patch sales will go back into the club treasury.   These one time,
collector item, 3-beam logo version patches will be sold at Au'03 for $2.00
each.    I will also take orders for the 2-beam logo patches which will
sell for $3.00 each.

So, for hats, check out the hat demo that Bud or I will have at Au'03.
Cost is $12.00 each, get your cash & orders to me.   For patches, we will
have the 3-beam logo version for sale at Au'03 at $2.00 per patch .... a
one-time collectors item purchase for sure.   I will also take orders for
the 2-beam (current version) logo patches at Au'03 which will be selling at
$3.00 each and should be available in several weeks.
