I've been busy with web site updates. I am pretty much "caught up"
with all the stuff I have been planning to get up there, like updates
to the States Above 50 MHz standings, converting detailed score data
from the ARRL web site to spreadsheet format for all the 2002 VHF and
above contests, band usage analysis of the ARRL VHF+ contests for 2002,
Claimed Scores for the January VHF contest, calendar updates, updated
info on NLRS Sunday Night Nets (new 222 net starting soon!), Spring
Sprints updates, Aurora 2003 updates (including some fancy new maps),
etc. You can even click on the NLRS logo on the home page to bring up
a list of different versions that can be downloaded. And a bunch of
links to off-site locations needed to be checked, and a number of them
needed to be either updated or deleted.
I still have plans to work on the 10 GHz and Up Operating Sites page,
but want to convert it to PHP/MySQL because it is way too tedious to
work on it in raw HTML format.
I still hope to convert all the contest data files to MySQL databases
and then write PHP code to display the results on the fly by looking up
the data from the files. This would allow more sophisticated lookups,
comparisons of one contest vs. another, etc.
If you are aware of any current info that belongs on the web pages but
is not there, or if you are aware of any information on the web pages
that is out of date, or if you are aware of any dead links, or if you
have any more suggestions of things you'd like to see, PLEASE let me
know:
