[NLRS] aluminum brazing

You need aluminum welded, not brazed. I know a good shop in Story City,
Iowa. I don't know what is in the twin cities, but there should be
several that weld aluminum.

You might want to consider using steel tubing, perhaps 1/8" wall, many
more can weld it successfully and it won't be a lot heavier to handle
though it will need a coat of paint.

WB0BQV, not far from here thought he could weld up 1/16" wall steel
tubing to hold several bikes on the back of one of his campers. When his
welding failed, he ground off half the saddles and handle bars before
someone caught his attention that the weld had failed.
