That was great fun.

Of course I forgot to reset the odometer on the GPS before starting
but based on the amount of gasoline consumed I would guess about 900
miles traveled.  10 grids activated is a new personal best.

I had few glitches that kept from departing on time and a few more
along the way, but compared to the last few trips it was a much better
experience.   Worked K0CJ on 1.2 from 5 grids and worked KM0T on 1.2
from White Bear Lake.  1.2 certainly has been a learning experience
for me.  Much different and much more fun than the plug and play
bands.  Definitely worth the effort to get 1.2 working.  Thanks to
Gary, W0GHZ for all the help and advice and testing, without Gary I
never would have gotten 1.2 working.

If anyone needs a QSL card for a contact we can exchange cards at the
next breakfast and save postage if you like.
