Hi, all. I put in a fair number of hours of work on the NLRS web pages
this weekend, after a month of "slacking off". And there's lots more
to do. I have a fair number of pictures from Aurora 2002 that have not
yet been added to the web pages. They will show up pretty soon.

As a few people have already done, I want to express my heartfelt
thanks to all of the folks who were involved in making Aurora 2002
the enormous success it was, but especially to the afternoon presenters
who labored to make their presentations, and then stand up in front
of the group to give those excellent talks.

As you will see if you visit the new starting page for the Aurora 2002
event, I am hoping that all of our fine presenters will consent to
allowing NLRS to publish their work as completely as possible on our
web pages. If you are willing, I will take either actual files, or
if appropriate, links to the files on a public server. So far, my most
complete NLRS page on the Aurora 2002 presentations is the one on
Mike (KM0T)'s talk on VHF Helper, but even that one could be expanded
to include any or all of the visuals he used at the session.

Even if no one sends me anything else, I *DO* still intend to add more
info to the new pages that are already there, but I'd like to make them
as complete as possible. But for starters, I wanted to get the basic
structure of the conference pages set, create each HTML file I will be
needing, even if it is very preliminary so far, etc.

Who knows, this could turn into a web-served version of "The Proceedings
of the NLRS Aurora 2002 Conference" (and I could even burn CD's of it
if the contributors were willing and any of you wanted them for a couple
of bucks to cover the cost of the blank CD's and distribution). Cheaper
than printed "Proceedings" and more versatile, not to mention taking up
less shelf space!

Anyway, I hope you find something new that you like there, and promise
that there will be more goodies to come.
