Hello there:

Yes, the conference is in one week in Milwaukee. Details by following links
in my sig-line. Walk-in registrations are fine--if you're able to attend on
short notice. There are alternative lodging sites listed on the web-page.

I'm most impressed by the Minnesota VHF crowd--there are as many of you
attending the conference as Badger Contesters and Chicago Area ops combined.

Even if you are not attending, you may want to go download the registration
form and send along $5 if you want to "be a dues paying CSVHFS member". The
benefit to that is that you'll get all mailings concerning next year's
conference in Tulsa. Plus, you have an opportunity to send along $20 for
this year's proceedings to be mailed to you right after the conference.
Many find the proceedings helpful as references as they get deeper into
VHF/UHF weak-signal work.

For those attending, if you have room in your car and interest, bring along
your 10G gear and we'll have "show and tell" in the Rover Rover of your 10G
gear. I can't promise a frequency reference--but I'll try. Down at the
shore of Lake Michigan (3 miles away), you might be able to hear the W2UHI
beacon on the other side.
