Hi all
10 GHz The last few weeks has been very Exciting & for me good learning
Experience. Sunday, I forgot maps My GPS & I do not have a compass rose yet
Just my good old $9.99 Coleman compass
What I found Interesting was that Gary WB0LJC Had everything well Mapped out
He gave me headings & we both agreed that Donn WA2VOI was right smack behind
the building 3/4 mile away. At 12:13 PM I figured That Donn The Die hard he is
Would be putting out RF. I heard something very weak, So I put on the beacon
BANG There he was 2 K off of the last time we worked The other weekend
There was drift in the signal But, Donn said he was having IF problems
Thanks for going out Donn! We worked K0FQA & K0KFC Right away from Monti.
I worked Bruce W9FZ SSB weak S-3 But got all the Info
I think Gary had to go CW? I then moved to Burnsville
Worked Gary S-9 + worked Bruce Again off of Downtown Very weak SSB S-3 CW
If I would have know KM0T was going to be on I would have went to Flying
Cloud Site
192 Miles Way to go guys! I then worked K0FQA line of site path from
Burnsville with the good old Coleman compass. Then Jim K0KFC made an exchange
Both were good 5-9 signals
Phil KB0NES you are more than welcome to hang out with me and try some 10 GHz
My first Home-brew project was a CW laser Transceiver
