Hi All -

Next Saturday, February 2nd is the Minnesota QSO Party. It runs from 8:00 AM
to 6:00 PM. You can operate any 8 hours you wish. The MN QSO Party is a
growing contest with pretty good activity. There are awards for HF operators
and VHF operators. Last year NO ONE sent in a log for the VHF portion! VHF
is limited to 6M operation but should be fun.

All the rules are out at www.w0aa.org. Or type Minnesota QSO Party in a
search engine. SSB QSO's are worth one point and CW QSO's are worth two.
The mults for Minnesota stations are MN counties and US states/VE provinces.
People outside the state can count MN counties for mults.

There is a club competition and the winning groups gets a traveling trophy.
Would anyone else be interested in competing and putting the NLRS on their
log? I will be hitting it hard on HF (I probably won't be on 6M). I'll put
NLRS on my log and I hope others will too.

If you are interested in this contest, please contact me. It is a great
contest where everyone works Minnesota! This could be a great way to put the
NLRS on the map in Minnesota and a fun way to churn up some activity. If you
decide not to operate, please get on HF and 6M and work the guys who are
active.
