	I have been researching a cheap alternative for reliable high voltage
transformers. I have found a company that will make a kit for a 3500va
toroidal core with prewound dual 120v secondaries for $150 in 5 lot
qauntities. I can email full specs to anyone who is interested. This
transformer is capable of 3500 volts at 1 amp or whatever secondary you
wish depending on how you wind it. Secondary is 1.1 turns per volt, you
wind to whatever spec you require, you supply the secondary wire. Basic
specs are 9.1 inch od, 3.3 inches tall and 31 pounds, core loss at full
output is 11 watts.
