Hi Jon -
Do you have any times and frequencies for your operation? Rovers with loops
can be tough to find and not knowing when to look for you makes it extra
tough.
If you could narrow it down and say:
I'll be operating on 50.140, 144.240 & 432.140
EN24 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm
EN25 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm
While you might not stick exactly to the schedule, it gives people a place to
look for you. When I roved I kept pretty close to my schedule. If I got a
bit behind I would always hear guys on my calling freq asking "Is Rich here
yet?" When I got to my next spot I'd have a pile-up waiting. Also, with
loops I'd say to start on 2 meters and then go to 432 and then to 50 MHz.
Make it easy (and consistent) for the other ops to follwo you.
