[NLRS] my wierd noise - part 3

Well,
the in-house noise turned out to *mostly* be an HP DDS external tape drive
in an HP case. Apparently a very loud switching power supply.

*HOWEVER*

this still isn't the periodic pulse problem! In fact with every computer
(and network) off in the house, the pulse is still there (on FM mode see an
S-meter pulse every 2 to 10 seconds - time varies slowly).

Even more interesting - with the antenna disconnected from the rig - it's
still there! (although less S-meter deflection).

Taking the rig out to another power supply (on a different branch circuit),
the pulses are gone (but then that is also an unheated room).

So - current theories :
- temp sensitive rig with some wierd internal problem
- power supply
- branch circuit noise that the power supply is connected to

The search goes on....
