[NLRS] wierd 2M noise - what is it?

Equipment:

SSB Gasfet tower pre-amp
DCI helical filter
Kenwood TR-751A 2M all-mode

Problem exists even with the tower preamp off (so that the helical filter is
before any amplification).

Packet radio or pager.

A CCI filter may be needed. A radio with better blocking range and
better selectivity is definitely needed. What are you receiving with?
