Hi John. Donn got it right. The NLRS website also has a very nice map
that specifically shows the 175 mile radius contest service area at
http://nlrs.dropboxone.net/BylawsChange.htm .... click on the link for the
map.
Its my understanding that any contacts you make while inside this circle
counts towards the NLRS club aggregate score while contacts that you make
while you are outside of this circle can still go towards your total rover
score, but must be excluded from the club part of your score. The ARRL
general rules for contests above 50 MHz states the following;
"2.3.6. ............ Rovers submitting a score for inclusion in a club
competition must also include a secondary summary sheet indicating the
portion of the score which counts for the club score if any of the QSOs
submitted take place outside of their club's territory. "
Specifically how you report a "secondary summary sheet indicating the
portion of the score which counts for the club score ..... " I am not sure
of, especially if you are sending your log in electronically via a Cabrillo
format. Perhaps some of the club rovers know how to do this ..... if no
one response to this question we can drop a note to the League and ask them.
