Hey Bruce, it was great to work you guys during the 10m contest last
weekend. Question; what kind of power & antennas are you using for
144.281 and 432.300 beacons ? What does the VE4VHF beacon (50.037)
beacon run ?

Another beacon was added to the beacon fleet at Austin, Manitoba on
Saturday Dec 14th, 2002 during the 10 meter contest. This beacon transmits
on 50.018 MHZ running 50 watts to a 3 element beam at 62 feet ( fixed to
the NE for AU work.) The call sign is VE4ARM (Amateur Radio Museum) Grid
EN09 mw. The gear is a surplus low band GE Mastr II 110 watt mobile.
This beacon is located on the grounds of the Manitoba Agricultural Museum
with 144.281, 432.300 and 28.193. These beacons are 80 miles west of
VE4VHF 50.037 +/- (EN19kv).
