I realize in my reply I may not have been clear. Yes, there are
plenty of very high quality and appropriately expensive 2400 MHz
downconverters out there, such as SSBUSA and DownEast Microwave
models.
Though I'm not knocking those, if your budget is tight, you can

Although K5GNA sells these AIDC downconverters on Ebay, he also
sells them direct at a fixed (no bidding) price. And they are
supposed to be quite good, when attached to a reasonable
antenna.
