Does anyone have a 1.25m transverter for sale?
Does anyone have a 1.25m transverter that I could borrow for the upcoming
VHF contest?
I am working out the details of a rover configuration. I am working on a
plan to try to visit 12 grids: EN44, 43, 54, 52, 51, 41 42, 31, 32, 33, 34,
35.
The link below will take you to a map of the proposed route.

Right now 1.25m is going to be a weak spot for the contest since we
currently only have 1.25m FM gear. If there is someone that has a rig or
brick that is not going to put in a serious effort I would be grateful we
could borrow it.
My current plan is to have a dedicated rig for 6m, 2m, 1.25m, and 70cm. I
am planning to have the antennas and mast mounted to a 5x10 trailer. The
idea is that it should only take about 5 minutes per site to setup/break
down. Ideally we should just need to push up and pin the mast, connect the
coax to the rigs, and start the generator. (Yes... I am planning to use a
generator so that I can run a power supply for most of the rigs.)
I have a more detailed plan for those that are interested. The plan will
become more detailed as I get feedback from people in the next week or so. I
can post the our schedule once we work out the details.
Thanks, JH
