I have some trouble getting W1GHz HDL_ANT program to run - probably cockpit error - and would appreciate anyone who has a current one or recent instructions for version 3 to contact me off line.

In the mean time, I found an old cardboard satelite calculation slide rule in my stuff and ran some numbers on the 0.8 meter (2.5') and the 1.0 meter dishes
(3').

I don't know if I am doing this right, on the slide rule, so would like to see of this is "in the ball park" for this size of dish

I am assuming 50% feed/dish efficiency to get a gain and half power beam width ie center to half power.

2.5' dish
3.5 GHz - 26 dB 8 degrees
5.7 GHz - 30 dB 5 degrees
10 GHz - 35 dB 3 degrees

3' dish
3.5 GHz - 28 dB 6.5 degrees
5.7 GHz - 32 dB 4 degrees
10 GHz - 37 dB 2 degrees - on a rover???

Do these look right?
