[NLRS] If its August, it must be tropo !

Forget the weather maps, just look at the calendar.   I was on for just a
short time last nite, but condx's were great.   The following DX was worked
on tropo from EN34 (Bloomington)

KD5DQU  MS on 2m
KU4IU  AL on 2m
K4TO KY on 2, 222, and 432
K4QI  NC (FM06) on 2m and 222.

I worked K8TQK in southern Ohio on 2, 222, and 432.  Tried Bob on 903, but
lost him due to a local 900MHz cordless phone QSO.   Tried later on a clear
freq, but no-go.   Band is still open this AM as I heard the locals working
DX on my mobile .... I was able to copied K5SW and K5YY and a couple of
others on the horizontal loop.
