Thanks to the CSVHF fleamarket, I have pieces for 5.7 Ghz. I decided this was
getting high enough for some new antenna techniques, so I started to advertise
for some cheap dishes.
Well - so far I have two eight footer C band and about 35 -- 1 to 1.2 meter
offset fed Ku band dishes. So I guess the old adage of "be careful what
you wish for" is true.
Obviously I have more Ku band dishes than even I need, so a bunch are
available.
Most of them come with a non penetrating roof mount - sorry they kept the
concrete blocks - and a 11-12 Giga LNB of unknown working status - but the
LNB and the mounting brackets do show where the feed needs to be.
If you want to beat the rain fade on the dish network - these will give you
6 dB better signal level.
Interested in a solar cooker - line the fiberglass dish with aluminum foil
and watch where you point it.
They are also useful on the ham bands above 1 Ghz. or to improve the range
on your 802.11 links.
No reasonable offer refused, unreasonable offers give due consideration.
Quantity discounts available - Pick up only. These are too big to ship.
I will be taking them to the Amana hamfest on the 11th so let me know if
anyone is interested.
