[NLRS] UHF Results at KM0T

Hi all,

Pretty poor conditions and no activity essentially from ND, SD, MO, KS, ILL,
WI that I could hear.  Also nothing heard south of Iowa, anywhere.  We did
have storms and shut down from 7:00PM Local saturday night to early sunday
morning.  I think that propagation was above poor to just below fair.  The
storms really stirred things up!  The band was starting to get good as the
contest ended.  Worked into EN35 like no problem at the end of the contest
on 432.

Highlights:

K0AWU coming thru the big storm that was inbetween us.  Pretty surprising!

Two FM contacts from a local ham, kinda nice.
Getting Gene in all grids on all bands.  This was the first real test of the
dishes here and on his rover.  8 grids both bands.  Never really had too
much trouble.  I really had no idea what to expect.  I wonder if January
would be worse, no humidity, but no folliage either.

In fact, the band was getting pretty good at the end, no wind and started
getting humid.  Gene, on his way home to EN22 stopped by EN31.  He got there
around 4:30 or so, we worked no problem on 5.7 and 10 ghz from there, 138
miles.  We chatted on 10 ghz for 20 minutes, kinda fun!  He would have gone
there for the contest, but ran out of time due to the storms that messed his
schedule up.

Without N0DQS/R and W0AMT/R, it would have been a long 24 hours. Thanks guys
for your efforts.  (that goes as well for all the rest of the rovers I did
not hear!)

Everything else here seemed to hold together pretty well.  Thanks for all
the qsos, see you in September.
