Many thanks to everyone for the great CSVHF conference. I had a great time - just wish the antenna range had been cooler!!
We really appreciated the hospitality rooms. It was nice to have a known location to gather, socialize and exchange ideas and tips. This is definitely something I hope continues at future conferences.
On a future note, the CR Microwave Society is starting to think of the September contest.
September in not known for freezing weather, and hopefully the heat will subside, so we are thinking of trying something different than just driving around. Had some good discussions in the Badger hospitality suite Saturday about locations along the shoreline of Lake Michigan, specifically the golf course/ex-trash dump just north of Chicago and the Point north of Milwaukee, but there may be other options.
Anyone have any reccommendations for some long boom rover operation from Central Wisconsin and/or Minnesota ie> good spot and relatively rare grid? Considering EN 44, 54, or 55, then maybe 25, 24, or 23.
Steve
We are just starting to consider options.
