I have a Heathkit TT-1 which had it's lid crushed and it evidently was exposed to moisture in basement or shed storage. The chassis looks pretty good, no rust or corrosion is evident. The broken bits of wood have been repaired with good old Elmer's glue.
All that is left to do is replace the covering. Does anyone know of a suitable replacement? Don't even know what the covering is called! Looks like a cross between paper and fabric. None of the corners are folded so I wonder if the fabric is put on wet or damp?Any help or suggestions welcome,Jim
