All,
I'm trying to finish a replica prop project I started a very long time ago. I need to make up some of the old-fashioned embossed Dymo labels. I'm sure you know what I mean, the style that comes on the plastic tape that you spin the wheel around, find your letter, and squeeze the printer to squish the letter into the plastic tape.
There are low-quality modern day embossing labelers made today that make similar ones, but the font is different, and they don't work very well. I'm looking for an older one that I'm sure almost all of you used or had at one point. I also need some of the red glossy plastic tape, enough to print about three feet of labels. I used to have a roll of the tape, but I can't find it. I will purchase a spool if necessary, but it's hard to even find the glossy tape, as the newer refills are a thinner plastic, and most are matte finish.
If anyone has one they don't mind lending me, that would be great. I have a found a few on ebay, and I can purchase one there worst case, but I figured I'd raid your junque drawers first!
Let me know if you can help me out!
Regards,
Matt
