[NJARC] Identify Emerson Radio?

[William S Zukowski]

Can anyone identify this radio?  The owner says the only identifying 
info on it is the year 1948 (obviously wrong knobs).

I've Google'd, Bing'd, and Yahoo'd, but cant find it.
