[NJARC] radios at estate sale - **PRE-SALE**

Went to the pre sale (see attached email) tonight and came away with a 
GE cathedral model K-52 (also attached) from the early 30s.  (also got a 
small box-o-tubes with a few eye tubes, and about 25 polarized 6' line 
cords).  Not really "collector" radios (no AK breadboards, catalins or 
Grebes) but a nice assortment of radios.  Allot of TOs, both tube and 
solid state, a very interesting "Victor Radio" console.  Didn't get the 
model # and the iPhone resolution wasn't sharp enough, but you'll see it 
in the pictures.

Wear old clothes, you'll have to step over some stuff, most of which is 
in the garage, about 2 degrees cooler than outside!

Some old car parts, tools, test equipment.  You can even pick up some 
dishes, furniture and chachkis while you're there!

All of this belonged to deceased club member Donald Ball.

The pre-sale is again tomorrow 11AM - 7PM. It's in Oceanport, NJ, next 
to Eatontown, about a mile from (the rear of) Monmouth racetrack.  The 
woman running the sale, Laura Kent said there would be another pre sale 
after tomorrow's but I don't remember when.  You can give her a call, 
very pleasant to work with.  Some of the prices she put on the radios 
are high (she welcomed my input), but she seems to be negotiable.
